Guided Dog Sledding Tour – Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms apply to participation in dog sledding tours arranged by Below Zero Husky Tours. By booking and participating, the customer accepts these terms.

2. Booking and Payment

A booking is binding once confirmed by the organizer.

Payment must be made according to the payment terms stated at booking.

If payment is not received, the organizer may cancel the booking.

3. Cancellation/Rebooking by the Customer

Paid bookings are non-refundable.

Rebooking is possible within the permitted time before the start of the tour if a “Rebooking Guarantee” has been purchased.

A full refund will be given if the activity must be cancelled due to unsuitable or dangerous weather conditions (e.g., thunderstorms, storms, or other severe weather).

In case of illness, a full refund will be issued upon presentation of a medical certificate.

Rebooking time limits before tour start:

Musher’s Life: 168 hours

Call of the Wild: 48 hours

Family Day: 48 hours

Family Tour: 24 hours

Hike with Huskies: 24 hours

4. Safety and Responsibility

Participation is at your own risk. Customers are responsible for being in sufficient physical and mental condition for the activity.

Customers must always follow the instructions of the organizer and guide. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Customers are liable for damages to equipment, sleds, harnesses, or dogs caused by negligence, carelessness, or misuse. The organizer has the right to charge the customer for such costs.

Customers are responsible for holding valid travel and accident insurance.

5. Damage to Dog Sled or Equipment

In case of damage caused by negligence, intoxication, or disobeying the guide’s instructions, the customer is liable for compensation.

The compensation level is up to SEK 15,000 per incident or the actual repair/replacement cost if lower.

6. Accidents and Personal Injury

The organizer holds liability insurance according to Swedish law but is not responsible for personal injuries or accidents caused by the customer’s negligence, failure to follow instructions, or risk-taking behavior.

Customers are responsible for holding valid accident and medical insurance.

7. Cancellation by the Organizer

The organizer reserves the right to cancel or interrupt a tour due to weather conditions, safety reasons, illness of dogs, or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control.

In such cases, the customer will be offered a rebooking or a full refund.

8. Force Majeure

The organizer is not responsible for damages or additional costs arising from circumstances beyond its control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

9. Image Rights

During our tours, photos and videos may be taken for commercial purposes. If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please notify us in advance by email: belowzerohuskytours@outlook.com.

All recorded material belongs to Below Zero Husky Tours, and we reserve the right to use it for marketing purposes to inspire future guests.

10. Approval

You must be at least 18 years old, or accompanied by a legal guardian.

By accepting these terms, a binding agreement is created. A booking confirmation will automatically be sent by email upon received booking.

In accordance with GDPR, you must approve that we store your personal information. You have the right to request deletion of your data.

We follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) in case of disputes.

By booking, you agree that we may send you a booking confirmation and follow-up email.

By booking and/or participating in the tour, the customer confirms that the above terms have been read, understood, and accepted.

Guided Snowmobile Tour – Terms & Conditions

By booking and participating in a guided snowmobile tour with Below Zero Husky Tours, you accept the following terms:

1. Responsibility and Safety

Participation is at your own risk. Customers are responsible for driving safely and responsibly, and for following the guide’s instructions at all times.

A valid snowmobile driving license or driver’s license, according to Swedish law, is required.

Below Zero Husky Tours disclaims liability for personal injury or accidents caused by negligence, carelessness, or violation of rules by the customer.

2. Liability and Snowmobile Damage

In case of damage to a snowmobile caused by the customer, the customer is liable for repair or replacement costs up to a maximum amount of SEK 15,000 per snowmobile.

If the repair cost is lower than SEK 15,000, the customer will be charged the actual cost.

3. Alcohol and Drugs

Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited.

The organizer reserves the right to deny participation without refund if this rule is violated.

4. Insurance

Customers are responsible for holding valid accident insurance.

Below Zero Husky Tours recommends checking your insurance coverage before booking.
