Let the dogs lead you out into the wilderness of Dalarna and feel their cooperation as a team.
When you come to our camp, your guide will give you a short overview and training of how to drive the sled. Then the job involves getting the huskies harnessed to the sled. When we and the dogs are ready to head out, we pull the anker and rush out into the wilderness. During the day we will travel over frozen lake, forest, mountain and bog. With exciting fast-paced and calm soothing moments. We navigate our way through the winter landscape. In a snow-covered camp site, we take a break where the dogs can rest while we barbeque lunch and make coffee over an open fire.
You will leave with great memories of driving a dogsled with very happy and energetic huskies through the scenic Swedish countryside and forests of Dalarna

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I drive my own dog sled?
Yes. Each participant drives their own dog sled pulled by a team of 3–4 Siberian Huskies after instruction from the guide.
Is previous dog sledding experience required?
No. Before departure, your guide will provide training on sled handling, safety, and working with the dogs.
How physically demanding is the tour?
This is a physically demanding adventure. You will actively drive the sled and occasionally help the dogs on more challenging terrain.
What landscapes will we travel through?
The tour takes you across frozen lakes, forests, mountains, and open marshland in the wilderness of Dalarna, Sweden.
Is lunch included?
Yes. During the day we stop at a winter campsite where lunch and hot drinks are prepared over an open fire.
Can children drive their own sled?
For safety reasons, participants under 16 years of age may not drive a dog sled on their own.
Will I get to meet and work with the huskies?
Yes. You will help harness the dogs before the tour and work closely with your team throughout the day.
